Service Circle cleans The Caring Place – August 30, 2014

The Service Circle arrived bright and early at The Caring Place in Kennedy Heights on the morning of Saturday, August 30. We cleaned the pantry, wiped out refrigerators, dusted, cleaning surfaces, and mopped floors.

Joanie Weidner, head of our Service Circle, delivered 18 backpacks full of school supplies to Operation Backpack. The backpacks and supplies will be delivered to homeless children throughout the Greater Cincinnati area.

The CSLGC Service circle planted over 100 saplings for a project sponsored by the Ohio Valley Forest Fellowship and the Cincinnati Zoo, on a preservation that the Zoo owns in Mason OH, on Saturday April 6.

On Saturday, March 9th, our Service Team visited the dunnhummbyUSA construction site downtown and decorated the chain link fence that encircles the construction site. Accompanying Joanie and Jeffry Weidner were Jan Andringa and Joy Hart. The decoration project was sponsored by Keep Cincinnati Beautiful.
