Thank you Jeff for your addition of MEAC to the sidebar. As an active participant to our center I am glad to know that we are able to provide foods, soaps, oils, and such to our own Prosperity Panty that supports MEAC.

Last night at the Wed night service I noticed the many beautifully wrapped presents sitting under our tree in Celebration Hall. Soon we will be able to shower these gifts to the many families at MEAC for our Bless-A-Family Program.

I am grateful for all the wonderful people in our center who give joyously.

Since posting the sale sign in my yard, I have had 3 people ask if my house was for sale.
Perhaps for next year we need to rethink the language on the sign.

Instead of a truck, how about a couple of the pods people use when they move things out of their houses for temporary storage on their premises? They shouldn’t harm the blacktop since they’re designed for that purpose.

Also, don’t we have at least one extra classroom in the basement that could hold some stuff?

Also, I need a truck to pick up the stuff from my basement. I have 3-4 large items that won’t fit in my car…and lot’s of other stuff as well. Would like to remove it all in one trip.

And as to question from newsletter on face painters – they are typically booked pretty far ahead – and some charge you to come. You could try posting on Craigslist under Community under Artists.

I want to make sure that Lauren and everybody knows that Kathy Skinner would like to do face-painting for the children who attend our event.
Also, Andrea Cefalo said that her daughter Zoey would like to do some henna body-painting. She brought back some high-quality henna from her visit to India. I think that these 2 things are great additions to our event!

Ok Team, it’s been more than a week since our last comment on The Name, and the few comments we’ve received seem supportive of the original favorite, and of my suggestion for a subtitle. So, the event shall be named… drum roll… wait for it… BAZAAR OF TREASURES PUBLIC SALE!

The Marketing Team – Theresa and Gladys et. al. will decide how best to work the name into advertising materials, and they are accepting design drafts. I recommend we use Bazaar of Treasures on top of Public Sale, and that Public Sale be only slightly larger than Bazaar of Treasures. Feel free to use all caps, the exclamation point and/or italics for Public Sale.

Thanks to those who commented. It will be a fantastic event, and name you chose will help make it so.
