Rev. Norm Bouchard will present his workshop “What would I do today if I were brave?” this Sunday after service.
What you get in life is a direct result of the questions you put forth.
Imagine purposeful bravery on a daily basis. Brave people believe in hopes, visions and dreams and they place their trust in them. Now is not only the time to ask important questions, but to answer them with a courageous mentality.
This workshop will be presented by Rev. Norm Bouchard. The cost is $30.00.
A catered lunch will be served immediately after service for those attending the workshop.

Green Team News – Earth Day April 22
The name and concept of Earth Day was pioneered by John McConnell in 1969 at a UNESCO Conference in San Francisco. The first Proclamation of Earth Day was by San Francisco, the City of Saint Francis, patron saint of ecology. Earth Day was first observed in San Francisco and other cities on March 21, 1970, the first day of spring in the northern hemisphere. This day of nature’s equipoise was later sanctioned in a Proclamation signed by Secretary General U Thant at the United Nations where it is observed each year. About the same time a separate Earth Day was founded by United States Senator Gaylord Nelson as an environmental teach-in first held on April 22, 1970. While this April 22 Earth Day was focused on the United States, an organization launched by Denis Hayes, who was the original national coordinator in 1970, took it international in 1990 and organized events in 141 nations. Our second silent auction event, “Prosperity Potpourri”, will be coming to our Center on Saturday, June 2 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. There will be door prizes, raffle items, theme baskets,chair massage, wine-tasting, and vendors, all to the tune of musical entertainment by Brown, Hart, Lester, and Weidner. Our co-emcees, Lauren Woodiwiss and Dee Coy, will host. Please note that we are not doing a yard sale this year so items that are donated are for door prizes and boutique. There will be no charge for admission, and free appetizers will be available.
A downloadable flyer for the event in PDF format is attached. Print them out and pass them around!
Please mark your calendars for this fun event, and invite your friends and neighbors. It will be a good time for the good cause of purchasing a new H-VAC unit for our Center!

For April only, our PSSSSSSST meeting will be on the third Sunday, April 15, not the second. This month’s theme is “Joy of Rebirth” and we will be sharing about the lessons “Freedom of the Christ Consciousness” and “I’m no Fool…my wisdom abides”. Join us downstairs. All are welcome.
